New Bed

Today we get a new bed for my son.  He is 4 years old and for the last 2 years of his life (and the entire existance) of his little sister, he has been sleeping in my king size bed with my husband and I.  It gets a little cramped to say the least.  My son tends to spin and toss and turn during the night, as does my husband, who is in denial about the whole thing.  So I am stuck between them both because A cannot sleep next to B for obvious reasons!  We tried a toddler bed for my son when he was almost 2 and it worked for about 4 weeks, until his sister was born.  I don't know whether it was the combination of her being in my room in a bassonet or just that he wasn't quite ready for the transition but either way, it didn't work.  Now, I know some mothers out there would say what a lazy person I am for not getting up and taking him into his bed after he falls asleep in my bed, and I completely agree!  It is sheer laziness that keeps me in my bed night after night.  But finally, I am trying a big boy bed.  It is being installed as we speak.  I ordered a bunk bed from Ashley Furniture and it looks great.  By the way, any mothers reading this should consider shopping with Ashley because they have wonderful customer service and excellent prices.  The bunk bed is a full on the bottom and twin up top.  I had my reservations about buying a bunk bed but I think it is exactly what I need to finally free my side of the bed!  Wish me luck!!!

Reading Book 4 of Harry Potter

So I know I'm a little late in the game, but I have just begun reading the Harry Potter books.  I have seen the movies (up until the last one that is in theaters) and have always been a fan, but never got around to reading the books.  As you know, if you've read my other blogs, I am a super duper Twilight fan.  I started out in the wrong order with the Twilight series, reading the first book after the second, but I finished strong.  And have since then read and reread each book several times.  But the Potter series is something that I have liked for years, watching little Harry, Ron, and Hermonie grow up.  I am on the 4th book and I have NO IDEA how it ends, so anyone who reads this, please do not spoil it for me.  I think that is why I blew through the Twilight series in 2 weeks is because I didn't want anyone to spoil the ending.  So, please be patient with me as I attempt to get through the last 3 books without anyone ruining the ending.  I will post updates.

Why I should be a movie critic

I watch so many movies. With that said, when watching these movies, I generally watch them (or at least the ones I really like) over and over. I watch them so many times that I can usually find at least one mistake within. I enjoy scrutinizing movies and it makes me have a sense of accomplishment somehow. How does one become a movie critic? I have read so many critiques that were completely different. I mean what is a critique anyway? It's merely an opinion made by different people, right? I would enjoy the job of being a movie critic. If anyone is reading this, please feel free to share your opinions.
